OUR BACKGROUND:
The lead consultant here is Arthur S. Katz. He has worked in the advertising, marketing and consulting business as his work involvement in a long career. He started in the advertising business, specializing in marketing services as he wanted to “know what kind of advertising to make.†Since 1987, he was worked as an independent consultant for Fortune 500 and 1,000 companies in the U.S. and for equally large companies in Canada. His focus has been in new product development, strategy and brand consulting.
With a Canadian researcher, Art developed and launched a brand development model based on human emotions, that provides a structured way to use emotions in marketing, most particularly in brand positioning. He is backed up by a professional team with diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Their work with emotion was performed with the collaboration of Dr. Paul Ekman, Professor Emeritis in Psychology, at the University of California - San Francisco Medical School.
He has worked as a team leader, team member or solo consultant, for a wide range of clients on both coasts and seemingly, everywhere in the middle. In fact, when he reviewed the following, he was surprised to find a number of Kansas City companies listed.
His current focus has been to shift from pure consulting on brands and related strategies, to a more balanced mixture of education and and consulting. He is developing relationships with emerging and small businesses, as well as consulting with the brand teams of larger companies.
His particular interest at this time is in providing information knowedge, models and tools that accelerate the learning process. These efforts are focused on emerging, new and small businesses and individual brand team members. The outcome from this assistance to new and small businesses is seeing the creation of new or stronger brands for their businesses and seeing that their existing “names†are treated like brands in the future, all to the financial benefit of their blossoming companies.
